Salary Range
$38.34 - $43.86 plus applicable per diem differential
Job Summary
The Central Service Technician is assigned the responsibility for reprocessing reusable medical equipment, sterilization and distribution of medical supplies/equipment.
In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Education Requirements
- High school graduate, required.
- Completion of medical terminology course, preferred.
Work Experience
- 6 months or more experience in an acute care hospital as a Central Supply Technician or O.R. Technician, preferred.
License
- Certification from approved CST or ORT training school, required
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology as it pertains to medical supplies and equipment, required.
