Upper Hutt Vets are a gold standard clinic, situated in a lovely part of the Hutt Valley. This role offers a great blend of consults & surgery, as well as a fantastic work life balance
About the clinic and role
- Part time roster, with a rotation of 2-4 shifts per week - average of 25.8 hours per week + 1:3 Saturdays
- Be supported working along-side highly experienced Vets and a wonderful strong nursing team
- Well equipped and recently refurbished clinic complete with, digital and dental x-rays and a dedicated surgical theatre
- Multi-Vet Team – you’ll join 4 other vets with a range of special interests
- Fear free focused clinic and our lead vet is Fear Free Elite accredited
- Experienced nurses – Our nurses perform nurse consultations, supporting vets in several different ways to improve patient care
- A part of local community as the first Vet clinic in Upper Hutt – established in 1982

About you
- BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered, or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand
- Ideally 5+ years experience – comfortable with some sole charge and routine surgery
- Applicants must hold NZ work rights, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
