Position Summary: 
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials. This management-level role requires expertise in warehouse operations, staff supervision, and compliance with relevant regulations. 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods;
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize losses; 
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety training; 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations; 
  • Plan and manage warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and improve workflow; 
  • Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline operations; 
  • Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including cost control and financial reporting; 
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations and material handling; 
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels; 
  • Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics and KPIs 

 

Qualifications and Experience: 
  • 8+ years of work experience working as a warehouse manager or sr. Specialist position. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field; 
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in an energy sector; 
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software; 
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations; 
  • Strong leadership and management skills; 
  • Forklift certification is preferred
