Salary: $116,600- $182,300/year* + profit sharing + benefits

*Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

What You’d Do in This Role:

We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead our Free First Party platform, the portfolio of free, owned digital products that serve as the front door to the Ramsey ecosystem and help millions take their first financial step. This includes Ask Ramsey, our AI-powered financial advice app that delivers personalized guidance rooted in Ramsey principles and connects users to the right products or services when they’re ready, along with calculators, assessments, and future digital experiences. Powered by the Ramsey AI Platform, our shared AI infrastructure enabling model orchestration, Ramsey tone and principles, integrations, and conversation memory, this leader will set the strategic direction for the platform, define what it should and should not be, partner with business leaders on P&L and investment decisions, and work hands-on with Product Managers to shape discovery, prioritize the right problems, and drive clarity and execution across teams.

You’re Probably a Match If:

• You have 2+ years of experience leading and developing Product Managers while elevating the craft across your team.
• You have scaled a product from the ground up and shaped ambiguous problem spaces into clear, actionable strategy.
• You influence and speak into a P&L, partnering cross-functionally across business units to drive smart investment decisions.
• You lead with a strong discovery mindset—prioritizing the right problems, leveraging data and analytics, and avoiding a delivery-only focus.
• You balance strategic direction with hands-on operational leadership, working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You bring experience building AI-powered and/or behavior-driven digital products (strong plus) with a long-term mindset for meaningful impact.
• You demonstrate ownership, curiosity, emotional maturity, and collaborative influence—building trust, navigating complexity, and delivering results aligned with Ramsey’s mission and values.
• You are following the teachings of Marty Cagan's Empowered and Inspired books (plus).

What Winning Looks Like:

• Setting the product strategy for Free First Party, including Ask Ramsey and future AI-driven experiences
• Defining how Ask Ramsey evolves as an AI-powered financial coaching product
• Identifying and prioritizing the highest-leverage problems to solve across our free product ecosystem
• Shaping the integration between product experiences and the Ramsey AI Platform
• Evaluating product decisions through a P&L lens and influencing investment strategy
• Partnering closely with Engineering and Design to build with clarity, taste, and real user value
• Leading discovery practices across squads, ensuring we learn deeply before we build
• Coaching and developing a growing team of Product Managers (4–6) and a Product Analyst
• Operating within squad rhythms (trios, syncs, reviews ) driving clarity and execution
• Building cross-business alignment so Free First Party strengthens the broader Ramsey ecosystem
