Veterinary Technician - Oncology (Strong anesthesia skills are a must!)
Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm – No Weekends

About You
The ideal candidate needs to be highly skilled in administering and monitoring anesthesia. This position will involve supporting patients throughout the radiation oncology service. Additional responsibilities include providing compassionate patient care, anesthesia induction and monitoring, excellent client care and communication, and involvement in the department’s growth.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 2 years of veterinary experience required. Specialty experience is a plus, preferably in Oncology.
- Experience in managing critical patients preferred.
- Required: Strong anesthesia skills from induction to recovery. Ventilator experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and can learn and assimilate quickly to new computer applications – high level of technology as a cloud-based company.
- Demonstrates proficiency in technical skills while being open to learning from new experiences.
- Provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care
- Assist with promoting PetCure Oncology and SRS through education and participation in community and veterinary events
- Other duties as needed
Education:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred - Strong anesthesia skills are essential
- High school or equivalent
