PV Village Pet Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
Our ideal new team member has:
- Solid general practice veterinary experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to effectively handle and restrain animals.
- Experience administering SQ, IM, and IV injections.
- Experience assisting with digital radiographs.
- Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in a veterinary clinic environment.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
- Must have active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with staff and clients
- Able to work late day shifts and a regular weekend day.
- Full-time availability

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts that rotate. Regular weekend shifts required
Compensation: starting at $18/hr, depending on experience and skill set
