The Marketing Support Coordinator for Membership responsibilities include resolving client and hospital inquiries, recommending solutions, and guiding clients/hospitals through features and functionalities for the company’s membership program - Thrive Plus - as well as the mobile app, website Pet Portal and monitoring and resolving Better Business Bureau complaints.

To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who can manage client and hospital concerns professionally, de-escalate situations and earn our hospitals and clients’ trust. You should also be familiar with help desk software and have demonstrated ability to review multiple systems to properly resolve client requests.
You will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent client support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize (large amounts of) incoming inbound email hospital and client requests regarding membership, mobile app, client account portal and other requests.
- Pinpoint gaps in hospital training and internal resources to tailor effective internal communications
- Identify hospital requests and client needs, assign priority (H/M/L) clarify information and research every issue to respond with empathy and in a timely manner.
- Respond accurately and with detail to hospital and client inquiries using scripts and canned responses regarding different client concerns via phone, email, or chat.
- Identify Thrive Plus Membership concerns and ensure members are aware of membership benefits and use member benefits to increase member satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to “save” members from cancelling or not renewing membership to improve member retention.
- Analyze, identify, and report membership, Vetspire, mobile app and portal data issues and tech bugs. Escalate accordingly to appropriate teams.
- Identify solutions or effective workarounds with team members in other departments and hospitals.
- Gather customer feedback and share within Membership as well as our IT, Product and Marketing teams.
- Review and manage BBB complaints in a timely manner to the client’s satisfaction.
Key Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4+ years in customer support, client services, or call center environments (healthcare, veterinary, or membership/subscription experience preferred)
- Experience supporting high-volume, multi-channel environments (phone, email, chat, ticketing systems)
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously (membership portal, pet records, billing platforms)
- Familiarity with subscription or membership-based products (enrollment, billing, retention) strongly preferred
- Strong ability to deliver empathetic, solutions-oriented client support, especially in emotionally sensitive situations
- Proven ability to de-escalate concerns and turn challenging interactions into positive experiences
- Veterinary, pet care, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain benefits, pricing, and policies clearly
- Comfortable guiding clients through decision-making (e.g., membership enrollment, benefits usage)
