THE ROLE

 

As an AV Account Executive, you will be joining a team of specialists dedicated to delivering AV campaigns for one of the UK’s most recognisable brands - EEAV consists of both offline (TV, Cinema, OOHAV) and online (BVOD, SVOD, OLV) channels, giving you variety and exposure to different skills and systems that will help broaden your knowledge of the UK media landscape. 

 

Your role will be to support the Account Manager and Account Director in the delivery of AV campaigns. Day to day responsibilities will include the booking, buying and reporting of campaigns across all AV channels, developing relationships with our media partners to extract the greatest value for our clients, monitoring the delivery of this value with strong numeracy skills, managing workloads to ensure tight reporting deadlines are met, and developing your knowledge of the dynamic AV market through training and the fostering of internal relationships with other teams. The successful applicant will be dealing with highly media literate clients, who will expect the highest in professionalism, so strong time management and the ability to multi-task are essential.

 

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all AV media 
  • Assist in all areas of day-to-day AV campaign management to meet clients’ business objectives and KPI’s - from initial brief, constructing a plan, negotiating and buying space, daily monitoring and optimising campaigns to post campaign performance analysis.
  • Manage day to day delivery of AV media and the associated administration – booking in TV schedules regular campaign optimisation, reporting, trafficking, tag delivery, live checks, analysing data and report on trends, media owner requests and issues, resolving straightforward campaign delivery issues or problems
  • Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all AV tools – including Media Ocean, Caria and AdvantEdge
  • Contribute to and present implementational plans and campaign results both internally and externally, working closely with other disciplines within the agency
  • Assist management of all billing/invoicing requirements for clients
  • Ensure compliance with EssenceMediacom / WPP anti-bribery guidelines

 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

 

  • Ensure all client requests are met and surpassed and manage client expectation effectively
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the client industry sector, the competitors within that sector and the general industry environment
  • Understand your client’s business and build a good relationship with them
  • Contribute to the creation of client status, planning and review meetings/documents
  • Develop an understanding of short to medium terms business objectives
  • Understand all buying guarantees that EM  are contracted to deliver on your clients’ business
  • Ensure all billing is received in the correct format and at the correct time
  • Ensure proper process is followed in relation to SOX compliance and plan approval/purchase order receipt before campaigns go live

 

 

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

  • Establish an understanding of how AV fits into the overall marketing mix
  • Develop collaborative relationships with the other departments within EM, such as Planning and Data Strategy, to deliver an integrated service to clients
  • Be fully aware of all deal parameters within both EM and GroupM, and their effect on planning/buying targets
  • Work collaboratively with and support the wider AV team to ensure all department, agency and client objectives are met
  • Managing and prioritising own workload

 

 EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

  • Develop strong relationships with relevant media owners at an appropriate level
  • Develop relationships with necessary external agencies on relevant client businesses to ensure an integrated approach (e.g. creative agency)
  • Be an effective ambassador for EM in all dealings 

 

ABOUT YOU

 

  • A high degree of numeracy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or G-Suite equivalent)
  • A high degree of literacy and good verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a pro-active attitude.
