Join EPCOR’s Summer Intern Program and gain practical experience in Maintenance Reliability. This role will work on meaningful improvement projects, help develop and enhance processes, and apply computer and analytical skills to drive data-based decision supporting operations and maintenance teams. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable field exposure, strengthen your safety awareness, and collaborate with maintenance and operations personnel.
As part of EPCOR’s Summer employment program, we are currently looking to fill one (1) Summer Student, Supply Chain position on a temporary full-time assignment working out of EPCOR USA’s Headquarters in Glendale, AZ.
As part of EPCOR’s Summer employment program, we are currently looking to fill one (1) Summer Student, Supply Chain position on a temporary full-time assignment working out of EPCOR USA’s Headquarters in Glendale, AZ.
As the Summer Student, you are accountable for the performance of the day-to-day Procurement functions within the US Shared Services Supply Chain group. You will provide purchasing expertise to business partners and achieving compliance with current purchasing and EPCOR policies within specified time frames. You’ll get exposure to the P2P (Purchase to Pay) and S2C (Source to Contract) process.
Internship Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
What you’ll be responsible for
- Support Buyers on coordinating, triaging and processing procurement transactions, such as Requisitions and Purchase Orders
- Support the completion of Procurement related forms
- Create Blanket Purchase Agreements within Oracle and support file management and clean up
- Assist with the Competitive Bidding process (RFP/RFQ) and contract administration in accordance with EPCOR Policies
- Provide timely and responsive customer service to customers, resolving issues and advancing complex concerns as required
- Learn to advise and make recommendations to Stakeholders with respect to potential procurement risks and support Stakeholders on the purchase to pay (P2P) process
- Assist in SharePoint site management and new content creation
- Use your data-digging skills to analyze and determine spend patters and trends across our United States operations to help information a strategic sourcing long term plan
- At the end of the program, provide a presentation on the findings and recommendations
- Support ad hoc projects as requested
What’s required to be successful
- Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate of a Business, Supply Chain, or Commerce related program
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams
