Location

Amplifon Belux HQ in Groot-Bijgaarden, on the outskirts of Brussels

The role

Within this function you are responsible for payroll processing, data analysis, headcount forecasting & reporting and contract management of the Amplifon Belux employees (around 200 employees) in line with Belux legislation and Corporate guidelines.

You will also be the main point of contact for our employees and line managers, for different HR inquiries, with focus on labor law topics.

Next to this you will take responsibility in the yearly budgeting of labor cost and HC/FTE, as well as keeping track of the actuals.

Within this role, you will work in close collaboration with the HR Director, the HR Talent Specialist, the colleagues of our Finance department and the different line managers.

Key activities/responsibilities you will be in charge of:

Payroll

  • Monthly processing of payroll within eBlox, Oracle HCM and different related tools (such as ServiceNow portal, eBlox HR, benefits statement...)
  • Calculation of bonus for all employees
  • Reconciliation of payroll with our Accounting department (cost center distribution, accruals, audit reporting)
  • Contract management
  • Processing of expats, salary splits, warrants and stock grants in payroll
  • Manage HR systems and perform configuration activities (e.g. yearly vacation rights, changes in working schemes)

Reward

  • Follow-up of our Amplifon flex income plan in collaboration with SD Worx
  • Follow-up of merit increases in line with budget and Corporate guidelines
  • Follow-up of extralegal benefits in collaboration with vendors (e.g. lease bikes, luncheon vouchers) and other departments (IT, Fleet)
  • Develop and keep up to date the HR policies to support labor laws (e.g. internal agreements, telework, mobile phone, lease bikes) in collaboration with the HR colleagues
  • Contributing to different projects in collaboration with Corporate or Belux colleagues (e.g. acquisitions, legal cases, internal communication, interfaces)
  • Contributing to the organization of personnel events, employee rewards, etc.

HR Analytics

  • Draft yearly budget for labor cost and FTE in close collaboration with the HR Director and our Finance department
  • Follow-up on actuals vs budget for labor cost & FTE and make ad hoc forecasts or recommendations towards area managers
  • Manage HR KPI reporting (e.g. FTE, absenteeism, turnover rate, consultancy costs)

Social-legal/ HR service

  • Serve as first point of contact for HR customer inquiries via various intake channels (e.g. phone, e-mail, face to face)
  • Take accountability for Employee experience related to the above areas of competence, ensuring high quality and fast execution
  • Ensure compliance with local rules & legislations in personnel administration, payroll and processes, keeping up with new rules & requirements
  • Follow-up with auditors
  • Support Amplifon franchisees on labour law inquiries


The key capabilities for this role:

  • You hold a Bachelor/Master’s degree in the Economic field, or equivalent by experience
  • 3-5 years of experience within payroll/analysis
  • You have a sound knowledge of Belgian Labour Law and like to keep up to date with the newest trends in HR Analytics and digitalization
  • You possess advanced analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret relevant data to support the growth of our business
  • You can work autonomously in a small team
  • You work accurately and deliver high quality and timely reporting
  • You have excellent organizational skills
  • You demonstrate a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • You are eager to learn and dare to take initiative to take the department to a higher level
  • You have a strong customer service orientation
  • You are a team player and are willing to share experience and best practices
  • You master Excel and other Office applications
  • You are bilingual Dutch & French and have a good command of English (both spoken and written)

Knowledge of eBlox, reporting tools and/or Oracle would be a plus, as well as a broader interest/background in (soft) HR.
