About the role:
Our Principal MCU DV Engineer will work with multi-functional global teams to implement and verify next generation highly complex microprocessor-based SoC designs. Develop system-level and unit-level test plan for functional verification and performance verification, write test benches and coverage using System Verilog and UVM, write random and directed tests for correctness and performance of microprocessors.

What you’ll achieve:
As a member of the DV Team, you will be responsible for verifying the DDR5 memory controller and physical interface designs with the highest quality by partnering with the architecture and design teams. You will be responsible for developing complex test plans and driving the implementation and execution of the same across block level and SoC level test bench implementations. In addition, you will drive the closure of the verification cycle across x-prop, power-aware and gate level simulations
About you:
- Understanding of the industry standard DDR4/DDR5 protocols
- Good verification experience, adept at UVM verification methodologies
- Development experience in languages common to the industry (e.g. Verilog, System Verilog, C, C++, Perl, Python).
- Exposure to different verification techniques such as x-prop, power-aware simulations
- Understanding of the gate level simulations
- Strong fundamentals of Cache coherence protocols, computer architecture
- Exposure to AMBA/AXI protocols and coherent fabric interconnect will be desired.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and contribute to the overall understanding of the team.
- B.Tech with 8 years or M.Tech with 6 years in Electronics / Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree
