About the role:  
  • You will join the System Level Test (SLT) team as a Data Analytics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work with big data in chip screening through various types of tests, including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and System Level Test (SLT). You will leverage your expertise to understand “what happened”, “why it happened” and “what will happen” by using test data to support operations and engineering teams in improving yields and resolving issues. What you’ll achieve: 
  • Collaboration: Partner with Manufacturing Operations Engineers or other business owners to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and enhance the data infrastructure for all test data from distributed test systems and diverse test cases. 
  • Insight Generation & Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for engineers, product managers, and leadership. Develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
  • Data Exploration & Validation: Work closely with Data Engineers to understand data structures, ensure data quality, and validate data integrity from various source systems
  • Statistical Modeling & Experimentation: Apply statistical methods (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, control charts) to understand process variations, evaluate the impact of process changes, and support Design of Experiments
About you:  
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Analysis within a semiconductor/electronic field AND/OR Data Engineering with strong knowledge of data infrastructure for Big Data such as Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse… 
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis on large datasets.
  • Proven experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot2).
  • Statistical Foundation: Solid understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression analysis, time series analysis).
  • Hand-on Experience with data engineering concepts and tools for data processing and integration (Databricks, airflow, pandas, spark…)
  • Hand-on experience with cloud provider (Azure or AWS) and their data services (e.g., ADLS, S3, Redshift, Snowflake, Data Factory, Glue, EMR, Athena
  • Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala with strong software engineering fundamentals. 
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems. 
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows. 
  • Experience with data parsing such as Elastic-search is a plus 
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Learning Aptitude: Demonstrated strong desire and aptitude to learn and apply new analytical and machine learning techniques. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • BS/MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Data Science or Equivalent.
