About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Atlassian Administrator Intern eager to develop skills in managing the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Jira Service Management. This internship is designed for someone with a general IT or cloud background who is motivated to learn how to support and configure Atlassian products to help teams work efficiently. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced administrators and stakeholders to build foundational knowledge and demonstrate growing competency in Atlassian administration.

What you'll achieve:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Jira Service Management
  • Support the configuration and customization of Jira workflows, screens, fields, and notifications under supervision
  • Help create and manage custom fields, issue types, and workflows as part of learning assignments
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to improve project visibility
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand basic requirements and help translate them into tasks
  • Participate in providing user support and training materials for Atlassian tools to end-users
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Atlassian tools with guidance
  • Stay curious and keep up-to-date with new Atlassian features and tools through self-learning and team knowledge sharing

About you: 

  • General understanding of IT concepts and some exposure to cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and tools, including willingness to explore Jira/Confluence platforms
  • Basic knowledge or experience with Jira, Confluence, or related Atlassian tools is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to grow and develop problem-solving and analytical skills through hands-on experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude toward learning and contributing to team goals

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree and PhD students are also considered.
