Role
Order Management serves as a core business partner within the finance organization focused
on the analysis of data from multiple sources and the development of scalable solutions to
ensure accurate booking and reporting of revenue. As a key member of the Revenue Accounting team, the Sr. Order Management Specialist will be responsible for working with the sales, revenue, business applications, and other cross functional teams to accurately process orders and invoices in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Review and validate order and sales contract information sources (order forms, agreements, POs, approvals) for completeness and accuracy in accordance to processing SLAs and booking policies
- Provide outstanding internal and external support, provide guidance, and take action to drive resolution of issues
- Be the order processing subject matter expert; collaborate with Billing and Collection Teams to identify workflow improvements in process and systems to minimize billing errors
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, with ability to work non-standard hours
- Continually document, update and re-evaluate processes and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the business operations to support increased growth and deal complexity
- Lead problem resolution activities, when required, to insure timely deliveries to customers or address customer fulfillment issues
- Participate in cross-functional projects that will help scale the business and streamline the quote-to-cash process, including defining business requirements and user acceptance testing
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation and reporting metrics analysis
- Support ad-hoc assignments as business requires
- 5+ years of Order Management, Deal Desk, or Operations related experience, preferably in a software and or SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) sales organization
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SAP (S/4 Hanna - BRIM/Hybris Billing), Zuora, and Google Suite a plus Experience w/Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Report Building, nested formulas, etc.)
- Ability to investigate and analyze problems using sound judgment and determine solutions to effectively resolve issues
- Demonstrated understanding of upstream and downstream impacts of order processing
- Proven task management and prioritization capabilities
- Ability to adapt to fast changing and dynamic environment
- Well-organized; able to multiple tasks and prioritize with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate capability to interact, collaborate, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to delegate tasks and follow through to ensure proper completion
BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
