Regional Sales Manager SLED (US Remote)

Role:

We are looking for a ground-breaking Enterprise Software Sales representative to focus on our State & Local Government Customers in a specific territory (NE/IA). You have sales experience in this vertical with a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. You are also self-starter who is driven to develop and out preform a territory coverage plan (over achieve) and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets and improve market share.

Responsibilities:

You will use your sales experience and connections in this vertical to close multi-million dollar deals with this customer. You are a self-starter and you will execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. You will bring your innovation to the table to help close more deals with this customer.

You possess both a sales and sufficient technical background that enables you to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with security analysts, software developers and IT architects. You are strong and a creative thinker who thrives in a multi-team environment and adopts all aspects of selling. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of sales experience (prior sales in State & Local Government)
  • 2 + Years of direct enterprise software executive sales experience (SaaS/Cloud sales)
  • Experience closing 6-7 figure deals with SLED (State & Local a plus)
  • Technical acumen with the ability to relate it with business value
  • Consistent track record of sales stellar performance
  • Comfortable with both an enterprise and transactional sales model
  • Experience and credibility selling at the CxO and senior sales business manager level
  • Ability to forecast, handle sales expenses
  • Excellent qualifying and closing skills
  • Business development, prospecting skills and ability to build strong partner relationships
  • Up to 50% travel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Location: Must be located in NE or IA (will cover NE / IA territory).

Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges are guidelines and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. OTE Pay Ranges

For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

On Target Earnings: $256,000.00 - 352,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.

On Target Earnings: $244,000.00 - 335,500.00 per year
