- Lead and scale a geographically distributed team of Channel Systems Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders across APJ.
- Own team performance, engagement, succession planning, talent reviews, promotions, and development plans.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, continuous learning, and customer-first execution.
- Define and execute the APJ partner technical strategy aligned to Nutanix APJ channel and sales priorities.
- Ensure partners meet and exceed technical readiness, certification, and enablement requirements across the Nutanix portfolio.
- Drive partner technical excellence that directly impacts pipeline creation, deal velocity, and win rates.
- Serve as the senior technical executive sponsor for strategic and elite APJ partners.
- Lead partner technical advisory boards, architecture reviews, and executive briefings.
- Act as the escalation point for complex pre-sales and post-sales technical challenges involving partners and customers.
- Partner closely with APJ Sales and Channel Sales leadership to align technical resources with priority growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Enablement, and Marketing to influence roadmap feedback, solution messaging, and partner offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities for partners across enterprise, commercial, and emerging segments.
- Own partner-driven technical pipeline visibility, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure consistent usage of Salesforce and operational tools, adherence to processes, and compliance with Nutanix policies.
- Continuously refine partner engagement models, technical programs, and field execution mechanisms.
- Lead hiring strategy for Channel Systems Engineering roles across APJ in partnership with Recruiting.
- Ensure strong onboarding, mentoring, and coaching programs for new and existing team members.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and leadership development within the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across APJ and globally to support partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA or post-graduate qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, strong leadership experience in technical pre-sales and partner-focused organizations.
- Proven experience leading multi-country, multi-cultural teams across the APJ theater.
- Strong track record of driving partner-led revenue growth and technical sales success.
- Deep technical expertise across virtualization, HCI, cloud platforms, containers, networking, storage, and enterprise infrastructure architectures.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a fast-paced environment as well as in a matrix organization
