The Opportunity
We’re expanding our early-career Inside Sales team North America, and we’re looking for a Sales Trainer who can deliver high-impact enablement experiences that build confidence, product fluency, and customer-readiness. Based in Durham, NC, you’ll lead onboarding and milestone-based training for Inside Sales representatives, helping them navigate complex cloud-native topics and develop strong sales communication skills. This role is more than instruction - it’s enablement with empathy. You’ll coach, mentor, and guide sellers through workshops, peer learning, and real-world application, ensuring they’re equipped to succeed in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Your Role
- Deliver engaging training across multiple formats: in-person, virtual instructor-led, and collaborative workshops
- Facilitate onboarding and milestone-based learning programs tailored to early-career Inside Sales professionals
- Partner with regional sales leaders and subject matter experts to localize delivery while maintaining global consistency
- Serve as a trusted coach and mentor—answering questions, tracking progress, and supporting real-world skill development
- Collaborate with instructional designers to refine sales scenarios, training workflows, and assessments for the Inside Sales representatives.
- Champion feedback loops—gathering insights from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve content and delivery
What You Will Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience delivering sales training, ideally within Inside Sales, technical sales, or field enablement
- You will deliver enablement for sales skills and foundational solution knowledge, partnering with SMEs for deeper expertise as needed.
- Proven ability to engage and support early-career sellers, with a focus on coaching and confidence-building
- Strong facilitation presence—comfortable leading both live and virtual sessions with clarity and energy
- Experience delivering across modalities: instructor-led, virtual, mentoring, and asynchronous support
- Innovation in how we build and deliver content; example- leveraging AI and enablement trends to offer a modern learning experience
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud and cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, multicloud platforms, DevOps workflows)
- Bonus: Experience working directly with Inside Sales or customer-facing technical sales teams
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 109,600 and USD $ 164,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
