About the Team
The consultant will join the Professional Services team at Nutanix, based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This team emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, aiming to deliver exceptional value to customers by ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of Nutanix solutions. The mission of the Professional Services team is to act as trusted advisors, facilitating customers' digital transformation journeys and enhancing their overall success.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services, who fosters a supportive and empowering leadership style that encourages open communication and collaboration within the team. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements, with a focus on delivering value from your designated workspace and minimal on-site requirements.
This position does not require any travel, enabling you to concentrate on providing outstanding customer support and engagement directly from your designated workspace without the need for on-site visits to customer locations.
Your Role
  • Monitor and ensure the health of production infrastructure, proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Assist customers in adopting and optimizing the use of Nutanix portfolio solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Develop and share a comprehensive roadmap plan for customer activities over the next 6 to 8 months.
  • Advise customers on Nutanix best practices, reference architecture, and validated design.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders during customer interactions to facilitate collaborative solutions.
  • Build expertise in virtualization technologies and Nutanix products to drive long-term customer success.
  • Contribute to a customer-centric team culture focused on innovation and collaboration.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in VMware skills and architecture, including managing production VMware clusters.
  • Strong understanding of storage concepts in virtualization and VMware internal networking architecture.
  • Excellent problem analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in coordinating discussions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Nutanix portfolio products is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts is beneficial.
Work Arrangement
This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
