Sales development is one of the most critical processes an organisation can build to deliver a consistent, seamless, and efficient revenue machine.
Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a motivated and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will play a pivotal role in the generation of pipeline across Italy. This will be accomplished by connecting with prospects supplied by marketing teams on a one-to-one basis and through multiple communication avenues e.g., calling, LinkedIn messages, emails etc. You will also work closely with field sales to break open key target whitespace accounts all of which are critical for the company’s continued growth. The most successful SDRs seek out opportunities by building rapport with prospects, taking the time to understand the customer environment, educating them on our solution in order to facilitate closing deals.
 
About the Team
We have a team of Sales Development Representatives covering several countries across the region who you will be working alongside. We also have comprehensive training that will kick start your career here at Nutanix and you will be assigned a peer mentor who is an experienced Sales Development Representative, who will share best practices and help you get started! We don’t stop there, you will have ongoing training to help you develop your skills in all areas of sales and to prepare you for your next step at Nutanix!
 
Your Role
  • Identify and nurture potential new business opportunities for sales with the aim of growing the pipeline through inbound and outbound initiatives and  schedule first-call meetings with prospects for the field sales reps​
  • Follow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns to ensure timely response to potential customers​. Provide ongoing feedback to marketing in order to help improve targeting and lead quality
  • Maintain a high level of daily activity through calls, connections, emails and utilize a variety of prospecting tools to uncover relevant prospects to target 
  • Work cross-functionally with field sales, channel, and marketing teams to deliver meetings and qualified opportunities and build new target account lists for sales-led campaigns
  • Execute outbound sales-led campaigns to drive in new business acquisition for the assigned territory (Italy)

Work arrangement 
  
This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
