About the Team
The Territory Account Manager role will be part of a dynamic sales team focused on expanding Nutanix's presence in Algeria. The team operates within a fully remote setup, and its culture is centered around collaboration, autonomy, and a customer-centric approach. With a strong emphasis on building local connections and networks, this team aims to enhance the quality of service provided to clients and establish a robust market presence within key sectors such as banking, oil and gas, telecom, and the public sector. By developing and managing a local sales strategy, the team plays a crucial role in executing Nutanix's mission of delivering innovative IT solutions tailored to the needs of its customers.
You will report to the Sales Manager, who is known for their collaborative leadership style that fosters open communication and teamwork. This manager values autonomy but encourages team members to take the initiative and represent the region's voice effectively. The role is fully remote, with no days required in an office. However, the new hire must be based in Algeria as local regulations necessitate it, making the role suitable for Algerian citizens.
This position does not entail extensive travel due to its remote nature. However, the candidate is expected to engage with local partners and customers, which may involve site visits within Algeria.
Your Role
- Build and manage a local sales team to serve customers in Algeria.
- Develop a strong professional network in key sectors such as banking, oil and gas, telecom, and public sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams (research, channel, marketing) to drive sales initiatives.
- Manage long and complex sales cycles, particularly within the public sector.
- Conduct customer and partner events to enhance engagement and showcase solutions.
- Understand the local economic landscape and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
What You Will Bring
- 10 years of experience in selling complex IT solutions, infrastructure, cloud, software, and data center.
- Strong professional network in banking, oil and gas, telecom, and public sector.
- Solid understanding of the local economic landscape and decision-making processes in Algeria.
- Experience collaborating with local partners, distributors, and OEMs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to ethical business practices.
- Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles.
- Natural leadership skills and resilience in a remote working environment.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
