About the Team

At Nutanix, you will be joining the Saas Data team, comprising 50 talented individuals located across various regions. Our team culture emphasizes open communication, collaboration, and mutual support, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and contribute to our collective success.

You will report to the Senior Manager Business Intelligence, who leads with a focus on fostering growth, providing guidance, and ensuring that each team member has the resources needed to excel. At Nutanix, we offer a hybrid work setup, requiring employees to work in the office for three days a week, promoting a balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Your Role

• The candidate should be result-oriented, self-starter and self-motivated who can manage multiple time-sensitive assignments.
• Should have expert data modeling skills including conceptual, logical and physical model design.
• The candidate should be able to participate in the development of Business Intelligence solutions to meet the needs of the Commercial Organizations (Finance, CRM, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing)
• Evaluate business requirements, conduct a POC and proactively call out data anomalies within the source system.
• Perform end to end data validation for a solution ensuring quality data delivery.
• Develop/performance tune complex SQL (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL) queries and stored procedures.
• Should be well versed with project tracking tools like Jira and Github.
• Able to batch processes using any scripting language like pearl, Unix or python.
• Experience with source systems like salesforce (SOQL), NetSuite or any other CRM is a plus.
• Candidate should be able to create strategic design and mapping of business requirements to system/technical requirements.
• Candidate should be able to communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

• 7-12 years of experience with Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL and PLSQL
• 7-12 years of experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas design and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions(SCD)
• 7+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniquesAbility to work on on ad-hoc requests and should be able to work on simultaneous projects or tasks
• Effective and positive communication and Team working skills.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
